Deep River Partners, Ltd., an award-winning residential architecture and interior design firm, is seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to join our growing team. This position offers significant project leadership responsibilities, direct client engagement, and playing a key role in the design and execution of exceptional residential projects within a highly collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects through all phases of design and delivery, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding, and construction administration.
- Develop creative, collaborative design solutions that respond to client goals and project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships while cultivating referral networks.
- Manage client expectations from initial consultation through project completion.
- Collaborate with colleagues and consultants to develop designs that respond to each client’s vision and the unique characteristics of their property.
- Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and site consultants.
- Conduct code research and document existing conditions.
- Manage product selections, specifications, and construction-related documentation.
- Supervise small project teams and contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture.
- Partner closely with Deep River’s Interior Design team to create cohesive, integrated design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Studies.
- Wisconsin architectural license preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.
- Experience in residential design and/or wood-frame construction detailing preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software; Archicad experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience navigating building codes, zoning requirements, and municipal approvals.
