Deep River Partners’ Taylor Korslin Awarded 2025 Booth Traveling Fellowship

Deep River Partners, Ltd. proudly announces that Taylor Korslin has been selected as the University of Michigan’s 2025 Booth Traveling Fellow. This prestigious fellowship, awarded annually since 1923, supports innovative research and travel for distinguished graduates of the University’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

This fall, Korslin will travel to seven European cities to study the transformation of former industrial and infrastructure sites into vibrant urban neighborhoods. His research itinerary includes Kings Cross and Battersea Power Station redevelopments in London, Scandinavian architecture and urban design in Copenhagen, and riverfront redevelopment in Madrid, Spain. Through on-site observations, he aims to explore how these adaptive reuse projects create better environments for everyday life. Taylor is most looking forward to having the time to immerse himself in the everyday life of each city.

“I am honored to receive the Booth Traveling Fellowship and grateful to The University of Michigan, Taubman College, and Deep River Partners for their support,” said Korslin. “I look forward to sharing insights on how cities can transform and evolve from within their historical core. The study will culminate in documentation and a report that aims to contribute to the global conversation of how cities can sustainably and creatively adapt with human-centered urban design.”
