Quiet Luxury: Artisan Home Magazine Feature

The Artisan Home Magazine highlights how thoughtful design can speak volumes without making a sound. The Keys to Quiet Luxury reveals the alluring shift every home needs. Deep River Partners’ Sarah Guzek ASID, was invited to participate in this designer panel on how this concept is a design movement and how to create this timeless style in your home. She spoke on the elements of the style, structure, and materials.

Special note is that most of the featured projects are from the design team here at Deep River Partners!

“Translating the concept into the home space sphere, Sarah Guzek echoes the emphasis on perennial classics and elaborates on what defines the genre: “It’s a timeless approach to design and space that values quality over anything loud or visually overpowering”.”

This design movement reinforces authenticity, in a personal level, “Introduce family heirlooms, items collected during your travels, things that have a story to tell” Sarah says.

Vaulted lakeside craftsman boathouse with exposed dark timber trusses and shiplap ceiling, featuring four curved patterned-fabric armchairs arranged around a sculptural round coffee table; walls of French doors with transom windows open onto a covered porch overlooking the water and wooded shoreline beyond.
