One challenge for this condominium remodel was to capture the homeowners’ love for coastal environments without repeating themes from their other homes. The new design focused on utilizing natural light. A proper Master Suite was relocated to gain access to an existing balcony. Remaining spaces were also designed around natural light for the most impact. The final result gave the living room a balcony and the kitchen much deserved views of the river. The chosen finishes of wood for ceilings, flooring, and wall treatments; along with fixtures and architectural details gave this Midwest home a Coastal flair without cliche!
