A classic Tudor on Milwaukee’s Northshore was restored to its former glory by seamlessly blending classic themes of black and white with updated finishes and furnishings.
Design Vision: Complete Overhaul of the Master Suite
The jewel of the project was a reimagined Master Suite that converted an adjacent bedroom into a Master Bathroom and Spa. The Suite also turned a small bath into a Master Walk in Closet between the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom’s once flat ceiling was raised and paneled in a rich mahogany wood – a design theme repeated in the bathroom to create warmth and comfort.
Distinctive Features: A Balance of Light and Dark
Darker rich colors are balanced by fresh white walls and cabinetry to create a striking yet approachable interior design. Special touches include new and antique rugs, a gilded dining room ceiling, vintage and modern light fixtures, new window treatments and a custom silvered and framed bathroom mirror.
