Deep River Partner’s congratulates our extended team member Timber Innovations for their recognition with a NARI National Contractor of the Year Awards (CotY) award for Residential Interior $250,001 to $500,000 for this Modern Mid-Century Home Remodel.
Recognizing Excellence NARI’s* Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards are the premier awards for the remodeling industry. The National award, which is given out one time per year, recognizes excellence in remodeling as demonstrated in forty-eight different categories. NARI members from across the nation may submit a project for consideration.

Deep River Partners received top honors at the Wisconsin Chapter of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Design Excellence Awards held March 12, 2020 at Discovery World. This French Transitional Residence renovation earned the Platinum Award. Congratulations to Natalie Erickson, ASID, and the rest of the Deep River team that contributed to this project. Founder Richard Sherer and Nicholas Blavat, AIA accepted the award.

Deep River Partners was honored by the American Society of Interior Designers – Wisconsin Chapter on March 21 at the ASID Design Excellence Awards. Deep River received three awards: Silver for an Entire Residence under 2,999 square feet for “Whitefish Bay Condo,” Bronze for Entire Residence over 2,999 square feet for “Mequon Residence,” and Bronze for Bath for “Lake House Bath.” Congratulations to Founder Richard Sherer, Interior Designer, Natalie Erickson, ASID; Interior Designer, and Leslie Dohr, ASID. Deep River Partners, Milwaukee, recently received a 2018 Chrysalis Award for Remodeling Excellence. The firm was honored with the Midwest Award for its Whole Home Remodel Over $700,000 (located in The Third Ward). Firms from Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin submitted projects for this category.
In total, 80 firms from across the United States were named winners at the 2018 Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
“To win an award in this highly competitive category is quite an achievement,” says Ken Kanline, Director of the Awards.
Deep River Partners’ interior designers Leslie Dohr, ASID; Natalie Erickson, ASID and architect Nicholas Mather, AIA designed the coastal themed condominium to include all the desires and needs of the homeowners.

The Chrysalis Awards program, begun in 1994, recognizes the nation’s best work in fifteen general categories of residential and commercial remodeling. The Chrysalis Awards are open to every professional remodeler and design professional in the United States.

Congratulations to our partner artisans at Custom Metals for winning three Top Job awards from the National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA) for their beautiful execution of elements within a Deep River designed home. Custom Metals was lauded for their fabrication of a front gate, a movable fireplace screen that hides a TV, and a floating art sculpture all at this Palm Desert Residence.
