Deep River Partner’s was proud to participate in the 5th Annual Tee’d Off At MS Golf Outing, a charity to raise funds for research into the cure for MS.
After seeing family members and friends battle MS for many years, Dave Blavat continues his personal mission to raise money for the MS Society so that some day other families will not have to endure the consequences of this slowly debilitating disease.
What is MS?
Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease.

Deep River Partner’s was invited by MKE Lifestyle magazine to contribute design inspiration for a tired Cape Cod inspired home.
“Small Home, Big Makeovers” [June/July 2020] is excerpted here:
“Now that summer is here, home improvements are underway. Realizing one structure can accommodate many design ideas, the editors presented a single small home image to local design, construction and remodeling professionals and asked for inspiration to see what sort of makeovers they might recommend.
“This home has some styling elements of a classic Cape Cod, including the gabled roof with a central entry into the home. Implementing some traditional details ofthe Cape Cod style could truly awaken this home into a neighborhood showstopper,” said Nicholas Blavat, AIA.”
